I have recently began to appreciate Drupal, and to get deeper into it we now have a development site for Drupal 7 which is in Alpha 5 at this time.
Version 7 got my interest because of the funding that Google was contributing to the development and all the hype on it’s big improvements over an already great CMS.
If you happen to check out the development site be prepared for it looking fractured at any given time. Right now I’m in the middle of learning how to build a sub-template.
Here is some information for supporters of Cukierski Family Sacramentals. They are always needing financial help but you may have all the Sacramentals you can use at this time. Maybe you don’t feel like you can offer a cash donation during these uncertain economic times.
Here is a possibility to support the Cukierski family through your ordinary online shopping via the FaveFund© set up at NowCoupons.com. Cukierski Family Sacramentals has signed up as a FaveFund©, and you can sign up as their Supporter.
There are over 500 merchants to choose from. There are many you will recognize and probably already use for your normal shopping needs. Next to each merchant listed is the percentage that will be given to the Cukierski family in your behalf.
There is a good chance that you may find a coupon or deal as you shop. Even if you don’t use the links, make a purchase, and support the Cukierski family. There is no extra cost to the shopper.
We made our first purchase with TheNerds.net last week. Even though we didn’t use a coupon we where still happy with the way their site worked and the part we ordered was delivered.
My daughter needed a power supply for her Dell PC. The Nerds had a good price which was one of the lowest of all the electronics merchants we promote.
The part got here in a reasonable time shipping from their store in West Tennessee. Check here for all their coupons.
Two Little Hands Productions has given us an exclusive coupon for 5% off your entire order at SigningTime.com. Signing Time has all the DVDs, flash cards, music, and books that you need to teach your child how to sign. Use code “nowcoupons”.
Both of my daughters have taught their little ones to sign before they could talk. You have to witness that to see how really cool it is.
You have probably seen Rachel Coleman On TV showing how she does it.This is not just for the hearing disabled. It’s a great tool for early childhood development and parent and baby bonding.
You may not know the name Nuance, but most everyone has heard of their Dragon NaturallySpeaking voice to text software. I got version 10 a couple of days ago and have been playing with it a lot. I really like this thing and I am using it to make this post.
The last time I tried this type software was about 10 years ago. There sure has been a lot of progress. Dragon makes very few mistakes after only a couple of hours training. I am being trained and so is Dragon. It has to get used to the way I talk and I have to get used to the way it operates, but the progress is amazingly fast for both of us.
Dragon will allow you to travel around in most any Windows based program, but that is not my main interest. I just want to be able to turn out volumes of text with the least effort.
Nuance has a 30 day money back offer if you’re not satisfied, but I already am. With this baby be I’ll able to add to the vast world of blog pollution.
Coupons are here.
